What is your role when booking the client?
WIS is a hub for event organizers seeking speakers for upcoming gatherings. We are happy to field your request, discuss your needs, and obtain initial information, including speaker fees and availability. Once there is official interest, we will make an introduction, and then the speaker will take it from there.
How much do your speakers charge?
Each speaker requests a flat fee for speaking, along with travel and accommodations. Fees vary based on the needs of the event, as well as speaker experience. We will gladly share an initial fee in our first email if you complete our form and fill out as many details as possible.
Do you receive a commission for booking the speaker?
No. All of our listed speakers are OFD Consulting clients. WIS is a resource for education organizers and a platform for our speakers to showcase their offerings. We do not charge a commission for events booked through this site.
How long are the presentations?
The majority of the topics can be customized between 45 and 90 minutes. We also have speakers with experience delivering half-day and full-day workshops, and some will happily entertain a Ted Talk-style presentation.
Are your speakers strictly available for live presentations?
All of our current speakers also have experience with webinars and podcasts, so don’t hesitate to reach out and inquire about your virtual event!
How can I be added to WIS?
We’re thrilled you’d want to join our collection of speakers. Please note, however, that WIS is not a directory. It is a hub for our current speaker clients on behalf of our wedding PR agency, OFD Consulting. If you’d like to learn more about representation, please contact us.
